Cams & Dónal

Cams and Dónal have been playing music together since 2008 in various bands and as a duo. They got together when Cams moved to the island, armed with a guitar and a love of bluegrass. Their musical tastes had rather a large crossover point and it wasn’t long before they had pulled a five-piece bluegrass band together to support Lúnasa at the Arran Folk Festival.
From there they’ve played bluegrass and trad Scots / Irish in a dance band, as well as at many sessions and support slots for the likes of Nick Harper, Phil & Aly and Finbar Furey.
From time to time they get to come together for an odd night’s entertainment here and there when the chance arises. This is one of those nights! Come and hear two pals having fun doing their favourite thing!
